The heart of this tiny collection release. The original design was made in silver by myself early 2023 and honestly this one is my personal favourite 🥰 I wear mine everyday.
I love how the „sun-like“ rays hold the stone in place, just like a warm hug. Wearing this piece feels for me like having a loving friend close to my heart, protecting me.

How is it made?
My design process varies from piece to piece, some I still create in silver and most I carve in wax.
I always start with the crystal first. The shape, colour and energy inspires me to create the design. After this, I add on wax, carve it, file it, melt it, press it…the options are endless. Once I am happy with my designs (I usually create a bunch) I send them off to my jewellers to help me with the casting process. There is a lot too it and I rather leave this up to the pros.
Close to my heart is that everyone involved in my business does well.
Therefore, I have chosen to work with a fair trade high end jeweller that empowers balinese artisans to create a viable income from their craft, so they can keep supporting their family.
Furthermore, this jeweller is also using sustainable business practices, such as reduce, reuse, recycle and tree planting in order to protect the earth.
I feel so lucky and grateful to have found such kind and conscious humans to work with. For me, this makes all the difference.
