I carved this piece slowly over a week, mostly in the quiet of the evenings — and somewhere along the way, it felt like it was guiding me (not the other way around 😅).
Labradorite sits at the centre — a stone of protection, intuition, and transformation. Paired with Moonstone, known to gently amplify emotion and bring your true self to the surface.
And the mushrooms… tiny symbols of mystery, rebirth, and connection to something deeper.

How is it made?
My design process varies from piece to piece, some I still create in silver and most I carve in wax.
I always start with the crystal first. The shape, colour and energy inspires me to create the design. Often I work with wax, carve it, file it, melt it, press it…the options are endless. Once I am happy with my designs (I usually create a bunch) I send them off to my jewellers to help me with the casting process. There is a lot too it and I rather leave this up to the pros.
Close to my heart is that everyone involved in my business does well.
Therefore, I have chosen to work with a fair trade high end jeweller that empowers balinese artisans to create a viable income from their craft, so they can keep supporting their family.
Furthermore, this jeweller is also using sustainable business practices, such as reduce, reuse, recycle and tree planting in order to protect the earth.
I feel so lucky and grateful to have found such kind and conscious humans to work with. For me, this makes all the difference.
